Možina was born in Trieste in 1941. He started painting at the age of 28 as an autodidact, and in 1971 he held his first solo exhibition. He concentrated in particular on still life and landscapes. His experience is very personal and has its roots in hyperrealism. In his paintings the represented objects look more real than their real counterparts, to such a degree that the viewers are often tempted to touch the canvas. Možina lives in Trieste and teaches painting at the Galleria Rettori Tribbio 2.
